Deployment and Support Engineer

Due to the growth of our activities, we are looking for a Deployment and Support Engineer on a permanent contract, with experience in deploying software in medical biology laboratories. The selected candidate will strengthen the Ascentry Group’s Operations Division, which currently includes around thirty employees.
The position must be based near a major city to allow easy travel throughout France.

Under the supervision of the Customer Service Manager, the Deployment and Support Engineer will carry out the following missions, with customer satisfaction as the main priority:

Carry out installations:

• Manage all pre‑installation files, including planning, documentation, and technical preparation
• Perform on‑site or remote installation
• Train end‑users Provide the client with the complete documentation package
• Obtain signatures for all contractual documents
• Monitor the post‑installation phase and contribute to collecting product improvement requests

Provide occasional telephone support on installed software solutions:

• Middleware solutions
• Epidemiology solutions
• Instrument connections

• We are looking for someone with a profile such as application engineer, medical biology laboratory technician, or installation and maintenance technician in medical biology, with strong knowledge of IT environments
• You are autonomous, have strong listening skills, a strong customer‑oriented mindset, and can handle stressful situations
• You are willing to travel regularly
• Strong knowledge of laboratory organisation as well as excellent oral and written communication skills are desired
• A good level of English is required to operate effectively in our international environment
